They can worn over or under regular clothing although for older children and more independent toddlers we recommend wearing ScratchSleeves under a t-shirt, pyjama or strapped top (such as dungarees or pinafores) to ensure that they are difficult for the child to remove without help.
- Designed for babies, toddlers and children with eczema but equally effective in combating scratching at other skin irritations, including chicken pox and post surgical healing, hair-pulling, thumb-sucking, protecting feeding-tubes, and much more.
- Machine washable at 40 degrees using non-biological detergent. Can be tumble-dried.
Smaller sizes (up to 9 months) have no shoulders and a cut-away neck line to keep little ones as cool as possible and so ScratchScratchs are easy for parents to use. We have added shoulders to the larger sizes to keep them fitting comfortably and to ensure that ScratchSleeves stay firmly in place on more active children.

Life saver!
I really enjoyed the scratch sleeve. My little one has terrible eczema and wakes himself up at night because of the scratching (at least 3 times and needs lots of comforting to go back down). However, along with other methods (naturopathic) , this product has really helped in the night time. He is still itchy, but shortly after he starts scratching, he stops. I believe it
Is due to the fact that the mittens are soft and don’t allow him to continue to itch. But it helps him settle quickly. Highly recommend! -
Skin saver!
These scratch sleeves are saving our poor baby's scalp one night at a time. He has eczema and scratched it until his head was raw and we resorted to putting him to bed with socks on his hands because mittens wouldn't stay on. No more!
